During the April joint meeting of the PD/GWSS Board and the PD Advisory Task Force, the board voted to defer the vote on designating Red Blotch as a serious disease to California’s winegrape industry, so that more information on the disease could be gathered.
If Red Blotch is designated as a threat to California’s winegrape industry, assessment funds could be used for research and outreach on the disease.
